CT Places Regional Advocacy Forums

Are you an executive director, board member, key stakeholder, or volunteer working for a nonprofit history, humanities, preservation, or library organization? If so, please consider joining us for one of our CT Places Regional Advocacy Forums.

As a newly elected General Assembly prepares to take office in January 2017, take advantage of this opportunity to discuss the new legislative session with a government affairs lobbyist, talk over how to effectively interact with state lawmakers, offer feedback on the #CTPlaces advocacy platform, and network with your colleagues.

The seven regional forums are scheduled as follows:

Greater New Haven: Thursday, Dec. 1, 3-4:30 p.m., Hamden Public Library
Western Connecticut: Monday, Dec. 5, 10-11:30 a.m., Silas Bronson Library, Waterbury
Southeast Connecticut: Wednesday, Dec. 7, 9:30-11 a.m., Groton Public Library
Greater Hartford: Monday, Dec. 12, 3-4:30 p.m., Connecticut Historical Society, Hartford
Northwest Connecticut: Wednesday, Dec. 14, 10-11:30 a.m., Litchfield Historical Society

Individuals or groups may register for a forum by visiting CTPlaces.org.
