Rights and Responsibilities in Connecticut History

– Did you know that many national and world events have connections right here in our home state of Connecticut? That’s right. Connecticut is full of people, events, and things that not only helped make the state what it is today, but also the country, and even the world. Explore Connecticut’s role in slavery, education, law, suffrage, and wars, among many other topics, that helped give us our rights and taught us our responsibilities.

We designed the History Day in Connecticut page to help you find the perfect topic and connect you to the sources you need to get your project started. We’ll be adding new items to this page every week so be sure to visit often. In addition, if you have questions, we’re here for you, just ask us! Good luck, have fun, and happy exploring!
